Globalisation Research

Hi,
Today in class we looked at the topic of globalisation and what it means. We looked at some vocabulary (jargon, buzzword, throw light on etc.) and read an article about the origins of the word globalisation and the problems in defining it.
As you know, your essay and presentation topic this semester is related to 'globalisation'. Underneath I have listed some resources which you can use to conduct your research. There are some World Bank articles in the back of your coursebook, but you may find other materials a little easier to use. Remember: One reason that it is such a difficult word to define is because those using the term are often biased.
