Essay drafts

AMBER!
Don't forget, on Friday you need to submit the first draft of your essay. This should be a MINIMUM of the introduction and a basic outline for your essay. The outline should show the basic structure of your essay - roughly how many paragraphs, a 'topic sentence' for each paragraph and some sources of information which you will use. I want to be able to look at your outline and understand your main ideas and arguments.

Here's a resource you may find useful when you want to know how to use a word or expression. It's a web-based corpus. Try typing in some of the cause and effect expressions we've looked at this week. This resource shows you examples in real English.
