Homework for 15th March

Homework for this week was:

1. To write an article. The task is on P.52 in your coursebook. Work through the exercises first to get an idea of the kind of style needed for an article - remember, it's important to think about the audience whenever you are writing. Also look at the example article on p208 to help you.
Articles are a very common task in Part 2 of the Writing Paper, and can often be a good option to choose.

2. In class we looked more closely at the paragraph matching task 2, and how to choose the correct option. For homework I asked you to do the first task based on three short texts. Try not to take more than about 15 - 20 minutes to do this task.
