Homework from 08 03

From what I heard, the practice part 3 speaking we did in yesterday's class was a big improvement on the test. Of course, you were probably more relaxed, but I was generally impressed with the amount of genuine interaction I saw, and the way you started using some of the functional vocabulary we looked at.... Try to remember this next time we do a practice test...

If you did the listening yesterday, I'll send you all an email with the answers to the Listening test attached.

Please don't forget the homework which was the Word Formation exercise on p.48 in the coursebook and all of page 50 (about collocations).

Generally speaking, you should try to do the reviews at the end of each unit we do (eg p17, p29) if you haven't done them already. Remember - if you want to improve your vocabulary, it's an active process which takes effort and involvement on your part. You all want to increase your range of vocabulary, right?..... and there's only so much we can do in class...

See you next week
